Why the Cloud
Cloud networks are large groups of servers that take advantage of low-cost computing technology, with specialized connections to spread data-processing chores across them. This shared IT infrastructure contains large pools of systems that are linked together. Virtualization techniques are used to maximize the power of the cloud.
In the SMB sector there is often a lack of time and financial resources to purchase, deploy and maintain an infrastructure (e.g. the software, server and storage). In the cloud, small businesses can access these resources using an Internet connection and Web browser. You can expand (or shrink) services as your business needs change.
Short for Software as a Service, SaaS is a software delivery method that provides access to software and its functions remotely as a Web-based service. Software as a Service allows organizations to access business functionality at a cost typically less than paying for licensed applications since SaaS pricing is based on a monthly fee. Also, because the software is hosted remotely, users don't need to invest in additional hardware. Software as a Service removes the need for organizations to handle the installation, set-up and often daily upkeep and maintenance. Software as a Service may also be referred to as simply hosted applications.
Mobile is Critical
If your website is not optimized for mobile, we recommend that you pull up your website on your smartphone and see what your customers see when they try to find you on a mobile device.
Mobile uses expect to find what they need quickly. However, when they can't easily find the information they need from sites that are not mobile compatible, they might move to a site which provides similar services and is mobile compatible as well.
Because mobile screens are a lot different from computer screens, the site design has to change accordingly. It is a relatively cheap process and not very time consuming either.
